The KN95 masks that were recently distributed to the staff at Short Hills Surgery Center were donated by Logan Goldstein, a resident of North Caldwell. Logan is the 12 year old niece of Dr. Joshua Fiske. After Dr. Fiske recovered from COVID-19, Logan decided to make a difference. She, along with some help from her parents, came up with an idea to sell homemade masks to the public and use the profits to help local hospitals, health care workers and first responders purchase proper PPE. Logan partnered with Camp Stuff 4 Less, a retail store in Livingston, and together they produced and sold approximately 1000 masks in one week! They were able to donate the proceeds to local hospitals and first aid squads and they were happy to help protect the staff at the Short Hills Surgery Center.
Great job Logan!!!
